Stylish, easy to build, and affordable – these are what IKEA’s brand is known for, and they’ve become a staple in many homes worldwide. If you’ve visited their biggest store yet, which is conveniently located in the Mall of Asia, you’ve probably wondered what it’s like to stay overnight in one of their inspiring showrooms. You can live out that dream if you happen to travel to its home country, Sweden! Know more about IKEA Hotell here:

The IKEA Hotell

Located at IKEA’s birthplace in Älmhult, IKEA Hotell is a 250-room stay for every type of traveler. It’s the only IKEA hotel in the world, and it’s got different amenities such as meeting places and a restaurant. The hotel’s furniture and furnishing are all IKEA products, of course, and the best part is, an overnight stay won’t break the bank.

Here are their rooms:

Double room

Whether you’re traveling solo or with a partner, this 18-square-meter double room will be more than enough. It features a private bath, smart storage options, and swoon-worthy IKEA furniture like the classic POÄNG armchair.

Rates start at 850.00 SEK per night or approx. P4378.92.

Double room standard

The Double Room Standard is the same as the Double Room, but it’s slightly smaller. With 15 square meters, you’ll still enjoy a comfortable double bed, office space, and a private T&B.

Rates start at 800.00 SEK per night or approx. P4121.34.

Family room

Here’s the ideal room for group travelers. The 18 square-meter Family Room can accommodate up to four people who will sleep in bunk beds. This is perfect not only as a room for groups but also for kids! Meanwhile, parents can stay in a separate adjoining room.

Rates start at 950.00 SEK per night or approx. P4894.09.

Cabin room

If you only plan to visit IKEA Hotell for the experience, go for the Cabin Room. This compact 4 square-meter space is good for one, fitted with a comfy bed, television, and storage. The toilet and bath are shared with other hotel guests.

Rates start at 950.00 SEK per night or approx. P3065.24.

A stay at IKEA Hotell is also inclusive of free breakfast.

Dining

A stay at IKEA Hotell isn’t complete without trying its in-house restaurant, where it all started. Before IKEA Hotell, it was Motel IKEA, a 22-room stay with a swimming pool and a restaurant that serves the brand’s iconic meatballs.
