1. Confirmed Online Appointment

3. Accomplished application form 
4. Original and photocopy of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Authenticated Birth Certificate on Security Paper 
5. Any acceptable ID and a photocopy of it

Core Requirements for Minor New Applications 

1. Confirmed Online Appointment 
2. Accomplished application form 
3. Personal appearance of minor applicant and either parent or authorized adult companion 
4. Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Birth Certificate 
5. A Marriage Certificate is required if only one parent is accompanying the child 
6. Passport or valid government-issued ID of either parent with one photocopy 
7. School ID

Core Requirements for Renewal Non-ePassport Applications for Adults 

1. Confirmed online appointment 
2. Current passport with photocopy of the data page 
3. Accomplished application form 
4. Personal appearance 
5. Original PSA authenticated documents that support the change of name such as marriage contract, annotated marriage contract to show annulment/divorce/court-ordered instruction, annotated birth certificate, death certificate of spouse 
6. Valid ID with one photocopy

What is a Courtesy Lane?

Beginning in March 2022, the Department of Foreign Affairs ASEANA allows walk-in applicants for eligible individuals. 

Who is eligible for the Courtesy Lane?

1. Senior citizens 
2. Persons with disabilities (PWDs) 
3. Pregnant applicants
4. Minors aged seven and below 
5. Solo parents 
6. Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) 
7. Exceptional and emergency cases

How much is the passport fee?

For both new applications and renewals, the passport fee costs 

1. PHP 950 for regular 
2. PHP 1,200 for expedited 

How long will my passport be processed?

Regular passport applications take 12 working dates, while expedited applications take seven days.

What should I bring when I claim my passport?

Bring your original passport receipt.

How many applicants will be accommodated for the Courtesy Lane?

Only 300 walk-in applicants will be accommodated per day.

What are the valid IDs for passport application?

According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, a Philippine Identification (PhilID) or ePhilID is a valid ID for passport application.

But the following may also be used in lieu of a PhilID:

• Social Security System (SSS) ID
• Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) ID
• Unified Multi-Purpose Identification (UMID) Card
• Land Transportation Office (LTO) Driver’s License
• Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) Card
• Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) E-Card
• Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Voter’s ID or Voter’s Certificate from the COMELEC main office
• Philippine National Police (PNP) Permit to Carry Firearms Outside of Residence
• Senior Citizen ID
• Airman License (issued from August 2016)
• Philippine Postal ID (issued from November 2016)
• Seafarer’s Record Book (SRB) or Seafarers Identity Document (SID) issued from February 2020
• Valid or latest passport
• School ID (if applicable)
  • Minors without School ID: Certificate of Enrolment with photo of minor and dry seal of school
  • Adults: School ID and Certificate of Registration

What to wear for passport photo

Because passports with photos that don’t adhere to International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) guidelines may be rejected by foreign immigration authorities, applicants are required to wear modest clothing for their passport photos. This means that the following are prohibited:

• plunging necklines
• sleeveless clothing
• spaghetti strapped tops
• see-through tops
• sando
• tube tops
• halter-neck tops

Earrings, colored contact lenses, and eyeglasses are not allowed for your passport photo. You may wear natural-looking makeup, but avoid heavy makeup, glittery or shimmery products, and bright or dark lipstick

How to reschedule passport appointment

If you are unable to appear on the day of your appointment, cancel your appointment by following the steps below:

1. Visit www.passport.gov.ph.
2. Click “Manage Existing Appointment”
3. Enter your appointment code and email address
4. Check “I’m not a robot” and click view details.
5. Click the “Cancel Appointment” button
6. “Appointment with Appointment Code <Appointment Code> was successfully CANCELLED…” message will display;
7. Open your email to see the confirmation of cancellation
8. To set a new appointment, go back to “Appointment” and either choose “Start Individual Appointment” or “Start Group Appointment”
