The heritage town of Taal in Batangas isn’t just the home of ancestral houses built during the Spanish era and Asia’s biggest largest church, the Minor Basilica of Saint Martin of Tours. Since it’s a coastal town, it’s also the home of many beach resorts, some of which have in-house cafes, such as Rob’s Kitchen.

Rob’s Kitchen & Café

If you’re on the hunt for a restaurant to visit on your next weekend drive, you might want to head to Taal, Batangas for a dose of swoon-worthy beachfront views, relaxing ambiance, and scrumptious food. Nestled inside La Evangs Beach Resort, Rob’s Kitchen & Cafe is a newly-opened restaurant that offers an alfresco dining experience.

The cafe is located on a viewing deck where you’ll get to enjoy a sweeping view of Balayan Bay. Boasting white walls and lightwood, the design of the cafe would make you want to take photos for the gram already!

During the daytime, you can enjoy a variety of coffee and non-coffee-based drinks, milk tea, sandwiches, pasta, and refreshing shakes, and fruit juices. They also offer an all-day breakfast menu, starting at P130 for silog dishes and P300 for a full Filipino meal.

Rob’s Kitchen is also just as picturesque at night. Have a romantic dinner with a colorful sunset as your background, order a full-course meal, and pair it with a glass of wine or refreshing cocktails. Happy hour starts at 5 PM and cocktails start at P199 per glass.
