Whether you’re meeting friends for a weekend hang out or getting your usual morning coffee before work, there’s probably a Starbucks you frequently go to. There are plenty of branches around the metro and in the provinces because Pinoys just love this international coffee franchise. But for the times you find yourself traveling around the country, you might want to pay these beautiful Starbucks branches a visit (listed in no particular order):

 

Intramuros

Location: 15A, Puerta Isabel II, Muralla St. corner Magallanes Drive, Intramuros

When you find yourself touring around the old walled city, catch a break at Starbucks Puerta de Isabel and feast your eyes on its old architecture. Puerta de Isabel II was the last gate built in Intramuros, and it opened in 1861. All the history as you sip your coffee!

Store hours: Mondays to Saturdays, from 6 AM to 9 PM

 

Baguio

Surrounded by towering pine trees, Old Starbucks in Camp John Hay is the definition of cozy. The branch is built on an old cottage with large windows, which creates a picturesque scene especially when there’s fog. If a real fireplace was built in the store, then it would become even cozier!

Travel back in time when you visit the newly-opened Balai Mestizo store in Vigan. The new Starbucks Reserve Hiraya is probably the most beautiful branch in Tagaytay yet, and there’s no wonder why others are willing to line up for hours to get the experience. It’s the first in the Philippines to serve freshly baked pastries, has the latest Starbucks Oviso espresso machine, and offers relaxing outdoor seating with views of Taal Lake to enjoy.

Evia

Going shopping in Evia? When you’re getting tired, take a break and treat yourself to a cup of your fave Starbucks drink. Ayala Triangle Gardens

There are a number of Starbucks branches around the country’s central business district including the pioneer branch in 6750 Ayala Building, but if you want to be surrounded by greenery in the middle of the city, go to the newly opened store in The Shops Ayala Triangle Gardens. The spacious branch is one of Starbucks’ first two greener stores, and its outdoor seats will make you feel like you’re in a little garden. It’s got plenty of solo seats too, perfect for when you want some peace and quiet, or plan on getting work done.

Davao
