The Laotian tradition of Tak Bat or otherwise known as the morning alms of the Monks, is still widely practiced every day in Luang Prabang. Witness this absorbing ritual of the monks walking on the side streets to receive their daybreak alms from earnest local worshippers of Buddhism.
