Things to do in Xinjiang, China

Now, let's go to them.
by | May 22, 2019

The best way to explore Xinjiang is by car, the distance between cities and towns, and the rugged but stunning landscapes make for a perfect road trip. The rock formations, desert and unique plants growing are spectacular. Rent a vehicle with fellow travelers to reduce the cost per person. Renting costs approximately CNY1500 (P11,500) with driver for the whole day for 4 people. The rate will depend on the distance and hours.

Tips while traveling in Xinjiang:
• Always have your passport ready, there are many security checks whenever you go in and out of a town or city, and whenever you enter an attraction.
• Don’t take pictures of security personnel or stations.
• Try to book accommodation before your trip when you want to spend a night near or inside a park.
