This is an attraction in Ubud is both a sanctuary for grey macaques and a sacred place. You’ll see several monkeys lazing around, running after each other, fighting over food or simply doing nothing. Some are quite aggressive, especially if they find out you have food. There are also temples in the complex and moss-covered statues which add to its appeal.
