Taiwan has always been a favorite vacation destination among the Filipinos—and with this new tourism incentive, it’s about to soar to the number one spot on everyone’s travel bucket list!
ICYDK, returning foreign travelers can receive NT$5,000 travel credits
If you have visited Taiwan at least once since January 1, 2023, congratulations, you are officially considered a “returning foreign traveler” and are thus qualified to participate in Taiwan’s Tourism Administration’s raffle.
From October 10, 2026, to March 31, 2027, raffle winners can get NT$5,000 (which is approximately PHP 9,670) in travel credits, while one accompanying traveler gets an additional NT$3,000 (approximately PHP 5,818) travel credit. You can load the credits onto an EasyCard, iPass, or iCash 2.0, or use them as store credit at any 7-Eleven.
How to join the Taiwan Tourism Administration raffle
To be eligible for the raffle, you must:
- Hold a foreign passport
- Have visited Taiwan at least once since January 1, 2023
- Not hold a Taiwan residence permit
- Plan to stay for at least three to 90 days from October 10, 2026, to March 31, 2027
Travelers can sign up for the lottery via a designated website starting October 1, 2026, or seven to 90 days before arriving in Taiwan.
