Dining at Islas Pinas feels like dining inside a museum, it’s full of structural and gastronomic culture, all exciting and new. Conceptualized and brought into reality by Margarita Fores (Asia’s Best Female Chef of 2016), Islas Pinas is a food and heritage village that defines the whole Philippines, from signature food to famous places, all crammed into one large space. Their menu showcases authentic and well-curated meals from different regions.

The large space located at DoubleDragon Plaza is also made to look like an interactive museum. There’s a section built to look like Vigan’s Calle Crisologo, there’s a sari-sari store, jeepney, and street vendors. There’s even a bahay kubo and an amphitheater patterned after the rice terraces, and all of these are life-sized! It’s a cultural feast for sure.

Kyzia spends most of her time capturing the world around her through photos, paragraphs, and playlists. She is constantly on the hunt for the perfect chocolate chip cookie, and a great paperback thriller to pair with it.
