Traveling North? Check Out This Bus Terminal Near Philippine Arena

While there are plenty of beach destinations in northern regions, it is more known for its highlands, such as Benguet, Sagada, and Mount Pulag. You can reach these destinations through buses from the metro but if you’re trying to avoid the crowd and traffic, here’s a lesser-known hack. You can go to Bulacan instead and take a bus from the North Luzon Express Terminal. Here’s everything you need to know about it:

 

A new route to Northern Luzon Provinces

Nestled within the Philippine Arena Compound in Bocaue, Bulacan, the North Luzon Express Terminal (NLET) has been open since 2020, offering bus rides to destinations such as Baguio, Zambales, Sagada, and Pangasinan. Its construction began in 2018, to help connect Northern Provinces to NCR and ease traffic conditions in the metro.

What are the bus routes at NLET?

As of April 2023, NLET only offers trips to three destinations:

Sagada, Mountain Province
  • Bus operator: Coda Lines
  • Route: via Nueva Vizcaya
  • Schedule: Daily trips from 9 PM to 10 PM
  • Bus fare: starts at PHP 1,080
