Vietnam has five other UNESCO sites like the Citadel of the Ho Dynasty, Complex of Hué Monuments, My Son Sanctuary, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and the Imperial Citadel of Thing Long in Hanoi.

Way before Tomb Raider came into pop culture consciousness, various history books and travel shows have exposed us to this temple complex crawling with edifices beautifully designed and inventively engineered.  As the capital city of the Khmer Empire that flourished between the 9th and 15th century, various ruins now still stunningly stands including the main tourism draw, the Angkor Wat.
