Pinoys never skimp on the holiday cheer. We begin playing Yuletide songs early in September (sometimes even in August!), and our Christmas season ends in January. But the season really kicks into high gear once the Christmas lights shows start. If you’re looking into treating your family and friends to a holiday date, admiring twinkling Christmas light shows is a perfect activity. After all, Pinoys love capturing moments and memories and posing in IG-worthy spots. Here’s where you can catch Christmas light shows this holiday season:

Festival of Lights at Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati

You know Christmas is right around the corner when Ayala Triangle Gardens returns its Festival of Lights. On its 15th year now, the Festival of Lights with the theme Christmas Nights with Countless Lights will open from 6 PM to 10 PM until January 14, 2024. The light and sound show has three medleys and new attractions, such as an interactive fountain.

Whimsical Christmas Garden at Filinvest City, Muntinlupa

While the weather is cooler this season, take a pleasant outdoor walk around Filinvest City in Muntinlupa and drop by Central Park to witness the Whimsical Christmas Garden. A gigantic Christmas tree sits at the park’s center, with a light installation reminiscent of the Supertrees you’ll see in Singapore. These mesmerizing lights will be up until January 6, 2024.

For the folks living in the South, there’s no need to go to the metro to catch a Christmas light show. You can catch Nuvali’s Fountain of Lights of Show in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, every Friday to Sunday, from 6 to 9 PM until January 14, 2024. The Nuvali Lakeside Water Show features Seaside Serenade: Muses and Creatures this year.

Night of Lights Christmas Illumination Park, Pasay City

Nestled in MOA’s new rooftop, the Night of Lights Christmas Illumination Park features various corners to witness colorful lights. This includes the Tunnel of Lights, which will give your photos a beautiful bokeh in the background when you take portraits. The Illumination Park is open until January 7, 2024, from 5:30 PM until the mall’s closing hours. Furbabies are welcome here, too!
