Traveling is an exciting experience we all look forward to, but the journey alone can be taxing. Dealing with the traffic going to the airport, long lines at check-in counters, and uncomfortable seats at boarding gates can make you feel tired already. But these can be mitigated by accessing airport lounges, ensuring you feel relaxed before flying.

The common knowledge is that you must own certain credit cards or memberships to access an airport lounge. But did you know there are lounges you can simply shell out cash for? We’ve rounded up airport lounges in NAIA and other Philippine airports that you can access even without a credit card:

PAGSS Premium Lounge

Location/s: NAIA Terminals 1 and 3, Clark International Airport, Davao International Airport, and Puerto Princesa International Airport

Fee: PHP1,500 for walk-ins

Operating hours: Depends on the location of the lounge.

With lounges available at different local destinations, the PAGSS Premium Lounge is arguably the most popular and accessible in the country. While lounge access is usually a credit cardholder perk or if you’re a business/first class passenger of certain airlines, travelers can walk into PAGSS for a fee. Its amenities include a buffet table, liquor and wine, shower rooms, and WiFi.

Marhaba Lounge

Location/s: NAIA Terminals 1 and 3

You can access the Marhaba Lounge at NAIA Terminal and 3 for a maximum of three hours. Their amenities include international cuisine with hot and cold beverages, flight info screens, WiFi, restrooms, shower facilities, a prayer room, and newspapers and magazines.

Fee: $32 or approximately PHP1,809

Operating hours: Open for 24 hours on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays; 5 AM to 11 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays

The Wings Transit Lounge

Location: 4th Floor Mall Area, NAIA Terminal 3

Whether you’re going to the airport hours early before your flight or on a layover and don’t want to leave the terminal anymore, The Wings Transit Lounge is the perfect place. Aside from having a typical airport lounge, they also offer sleep capsules, twin rooms, and family rooms if you need space where you want to be more comfortable. This lounge is inspired by capsule units in Japan, allowing guests to access their space at an affordable price. The Wings’ lounge offers a bang for the buck deal; for PHP 700, you can stay up to 7.5 hours and enjoy perks such as light snacks, beverages, luggage storage, WiFi, and shower.

Fee: Starts at PHP 700

Operating hours: Open 24/7

How to book: Walk in or visit the official website
