Laiya is one of Batangas’ most famous coastal towns but it gets crowded. But you can still find pockets of peace and quiet, including Bigang Munti Beach Resort:

Bigang Munti Beach Resort

Getting to Bigang Munti Beach Resort is a breeze if you go to Laiya – it’s 10-15 minutes away from the famous beach town. Sure, it doesn’t have a white sand beach and the shore is rocky, but that doesn’t mean you won’t have a great time swimming. The beach is still as picturesque. You can set up a picnic or tan by the beach during day time or gather around a bonfire at night.

The resort is nestled between two huge rock formations. You’ll also find “pools” between these rocks, which make a great photo spot when you visit.

Bigang Munti offers various accommodations. They have nipa huts and cabins for overnight stays, which are all exclusive. These beachfront stays have air-conditioned bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a balcony.

If you plan on staying for the day only, you can rent an open cabana that can accommodate up to 15 people. The day tour rates start at P5,500. This includes amenities such as the use of a grill, shared bathroom, and tables and chairs.

You can also pitch a tent for P500 and rent one starting at P500.

Dining

If you want snacks, you can order coffee and non-coffee beverages and food from their in-house cafe, Bigang Munti Deli & Merch. They also offer kapeng barako drip coffee, which is perfect for pasalubong!

They’re open daily from 6 AM to 12 MN. Find out more on Facebook.
