Changi Airport, arguably the world’s number one, is opening its newest Terminal this year. Terminal 4, which is the size of 27 football fields, will cater not only to full-service airlines, but also to low cost carriers. Eight airlines will move in to the highly-automated Terminal, one of them being our own Cebu Pacific Air.

As the first Philippine carrier to board Changi’s newest terminal, Cebu Pacific passengers will be among the first to experience Terminal 4’s first class amenities and facilities. T4 comes packed with Fast and Seamless Travel (FAST) systems, passengers will be able to check in and drop off their bags using an automated self-service booth. Meanwhile, the immigration clearance station and boarding gates are equipped with facial recognition technology — passengers’ identities will now be verified by matching their faces to their passport photos.
