For many Metro Manila commuters, the train is one of the quickest ways to get around. With the MRT-3, LRT-1, and LRT-2 connecting different parts of the metro, hopping on a train can make getting from point A to point B a little easier. And if you’re a train enthusiast, there’s another reason to love your commute: limited-edition beep Cards. The latest one to join the collection is a collaboration between Railfans PH and beep, and it features some of the trains you’ll see around the metro.

Yup, there’s a Railfans PH x beep Card collab

Train and railway lovers now have a new piece of merch to add to their collection: the Railfans PH x beep Card. The special co-branded card is designed for rail enthusiasts, regular commuters, and collectors alike. Its design features the trains currently serving commuters, making it a pretty fitting addition to any railfan’s collection.

And yes, you can actually use it as a regular beep Card, too.

What can a beep Card do?

You can use the beep Card for contactless fare payment on participating beep transport systems, including Manila’s elevated railways, P2P buses, and select PUVs nationwide. It’s not limited to commuting, either. You can also use your beep Card to pay at participating retail establishments, including Uncle John’s and Lawson.

So if you’re planning to get the Railfans PH version, you can display it in your collection when you’re not commuting and actually use it when you are.

How much is the Railfans PH x beep Card?

You can get the Railfans PH x beep Card for PHP600 through Shopee and Lazada. Unfortunately, they don’t come pre-loaded and won’t be sold at train stations.

So, railfans, commuters, and collectors: will you be adding this limited-edition beep Card to your collection?
