The limited-edition card prominently features Juan Luna’s iconic 1895 portrait, Una Bulaqueña (A Woman from Bulacan), widely regarded as one of Luna’s most graceful and captivating works.

The original oil painting offers a gentle, elegant depiction of 19th-century Filipina grace. On loan to the museum until 2026, it remains a favorite among visitors of the National Museum of Fine Arts.

The National Museum first introduced the Una Bulaqueña beep card in time for National Heroes Day on 25 August 2025, and now it has returned.

Other limited-edition beep Cards

This isn’t the first time beep and the National Museum of the Philippines have collaborated to tie art with daily transit. Over the years, they have launched several iconic collectible series.

The 2023 Architectural Collection beep cards featured the stunning facade prints of the National Museum’s landmark buildings, namely the National Museum of Fine Arts, National Museum of Natural History, National Museum of Anthropology, and the National Museum of the Philippines – Cebu.

The 2025 Spoliarium Anniversary Edition beep card was released to commemorate the 140th anniversary of Juan Luna’s grand masterpiece, the Spoliarium, which earned a gold medal at the 1884 Exposición Nacional de Bellas Artes in Madrid and continues to greet visitors on the ground floor of the National Museum of Fine Arts today.

Meanwhile, beep also collaborated with the Supreme Court of the Philippines for its own limited-edition cards.
