China’s Tianjin Binhai Library Might Just Be the Coolest Library You’ll Ever Get to Visit

Once you step inside China’s newest Tianjin Binhai Library located within the eponymous city, there’s no time to feel anything else but sheer awe and wonder.

The five-story, 34,200-square-meter glass structure designed by Dutch-based firm MVRDV gives off a minimalist yet futuristic vibe. It welcomes you first via an oval opening which reveals The Eye — a white, luminous orb which serves as the library’s centerpiece and houses a small auditorium.
