Who can travel to Turkey from Philippines?

The Republic of Türkiye is open to all travelers, regardless of vaccination status.

 

Do you need a visa to enter Turkey?

Yes. Filipinos traveling to Turkey need a visa to enter the republic.

Note: According to the Republic of Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, only the Nationals of the Philippines holding diplomatic and official/service passports are exempt from the visa requirement, which allows up to 30 days of travel.

 

How to apply for a Turkish e-Visa

Ordinary Philippine passport holders are required to have a visa to enter Turkey. Individuals may obtain their 30-day single-entry e-visa via the website www.evisa.gov.tr, provided they have a valid Schengen, members of USA, UK, Ireland visa, or residence permit.

What are the requirements?

  • A valid Schengen/USA/UK/Ireland visa or residence permit
  • A passport or a travel document with an expiration date at least 60 days beyond the duration of stay of their visa

These requirements are in accordance with article 7.1b of “the Law on Foreigners and International Protection” no. 6458.

How do I pay for my e-Visa?

The e-Visa fee is in US dollars. Individuals can only make payments by Mastercard, Visa, and UnionPay credit or debit card. Payment must be made within 48 hours. Otherwise, the application will time out.

 

How do I get a copy of my e-Visa?

After making payment, applicants will receive a link to download the e-Visa via e-mail. It will already be verified at ports of entry but the Ministry advises keeping a soft and/or hard copy of the e-Visa in case of a system failure.

Beginning June 1, 2022, Turkey has already removed its proof of vaccination as an entry requirement. Both vaccinated and vaccinated travelers may enter the republic. As of writing, these are the requirements individuals need to present:

  • A valid passport
  • An approved e-Visa
