Nara is full of ancient temples one you shouldn’t miss is Kofuku-ji. This World Heritage Site is more than a thousand years old. The temple has undergone reconstructions over the centuries. You’ll also see the statues of Ashura and the Thousand Armed Kannon. The complex also has the Northern and South Octagonal Halls, both of which are cultural and historical relics.
