Known as the fifth largest mosque in the world, the Hassan II Mosque was commissioned by King Hassan II and is situated near the Atlantic Ocean. On its dreamy location, the King once said that “God’s throne was on water. Therefore, the faithful who go there to pray, to praise the creator on firm soil, can contemplate God’s sky and ocean.” The mosque’s striking minaret is also the tallest one in the world.
