Why Catanduanes Belongs in my Top 3 Philippine Provinces to Visit

And why it should be on yours, too.

Every time I am asked about my favorite province in the Philippines, I always answer with “It’s a toss-up between Batanes and Palawan”. That was before I visited Catanduanes. After getting a glimpse of Catanduanes during my recent weeklong trip there, I can now say it belongs in the top three of my chosen provinces in the Philippines.

Setting aside rankings, one thing is certain – this province known as the Happy Island, seems to have it all; picturesque rolling hills, azure colored lagoons, towering waterfalls, pristine beaches and islands, scenic countryside and not to mention; the famed Puraran surfing spot. You name it and Catanduanes got it.

So if you are heading this way anytime soon, please don’t miss out on these beautiful spots.
