Immerse in With All My Love for the Tulips, I Pray Forever (2013), a white room where giant dotted tulips merge with the dotted wall. The dots express Kusama’s desire to measure the infinity of the universe, and from her place in it. She wanted to know, from creating accumulated particles that form negative space, how deep the mystery was — and if “infinite infinities exist beyond the universe.” And in exploring these questions, she aimed to examine the one dot that was her life — “a single particle among billions.”
