Start early and travel to Saint Petersburg’s suburbs to get a glimpse of how royalty lived by visiting Peterhof Palace. Its golden exterior, statues, garden and fountain display the opulence of those that lived in it. A walk inside the palace will keep you in constant amazement at how the rich spent their money on all things beautiful and refined. Paintings and furniture from different parts of the world and famous artists of their time are seen in the palace’s rooms.
