5 Ways To Entertain A Toddler During Long Flights

Could be worth a try.

  1. Yummy Treats

Keeping small bags of assorted treats is another way to keep the wee one busy.  On one ziplock bag you could have crackers for him or her to nibble on.  On another bag, some pretzels. On another, gummy bears, jelly beans, peanuts; the list is endless.  Keep about 5-10 small bags of treats in your hand carry to bring out for your toddler throughout the plane ride.  Remember to not let them know you have all of these treats, otherwise they might convince you with their cuteness to give it to them all in one go; and that would defeat the purpose of extending their interest in seeing something new in an otherwise tiresome flight.

Remember that these items can be rotated, you can show one toy for now, let them play with it, and when they tire of it, move on to playing a game, and then to giving a bag of snacks and so on.  Most likely with all the fun they’re having and the seemingly unlimited amount of snackage they get, you will soon discover your child quietly sitting in their seat, eyes closed, exhausted and dreaming the flight away.
