Beginning December 1, Malaysia-based airline Batik Air is joining the Philippines’ gateway with daily flights to and from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Batik Air first launched in March 2013 with domestic flights in Malaysia. It has now expanded routes to airports across Asia, the Middle East, and Australia.

Flight frequency

According to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), Batik Air’s flight OD 510 will arrive in NAIA at 2:50 AM, while flight OD 511 will depart Manila at 3:50 AM. Details regarding its flight frequency are still to be announced.

Earlier this month, MIAA also announced Hong Kong-based Greater Bay Airlines will launch flights between Manila and Hong Kong five times a week.

NAIA is now a hub for 48 carriers, with 42 foreign carriers, including Batik Air and Greater Bay Airlines.
