Beginning November 8, Greater Bay Airlines (a Hong Kong-based airline that launched in July 2022) will launch a scheduled service that will fly five times a week between Manila and Hong Kong on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with an all-economy configuration.

Recognizing Hong Kong as a major commercial and business center in the Asia Pacific region, Greater Bay Airlines aims to attract tourists who love shopping, dining, arts, culture, and entertainment. Many Filipinos also work and live in Hong Kong, which serves as a transit point to cities in Mainland China.

Greater Bay Airlines HK-MNL flight schedule

Flights to Hong Kong will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays to Sundays, departing at 3 a.m. and arriving in Hong Kong at 5:10 a.m. Flights back to Manila will be scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays to Saturdays, departing at 11:50 p.m. and arriving in Manila at 2 a.m. the following day.

To celebrate the launch of the service, Greater Bay Airlines will be offering several promotions for different customer groups such as trade organization staff, group travelers, and overseas Filipino workers in Hong Kong. Roundtrip tickets out of Manila will start at $50 (P2,830), not inclusive of applicable taxes and fuel surcharges.

Since its launch last year, Greater Bay Airlines has been operating flights to Bangkok, Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, and Ho Chi Minh City. Greater Bay Airlines is a “value carrier,” placing itself somewhere between a budget airline and a full-service one.
