If you’re familiar with the anime Doraemon, then you’d also be familiar with his favorite snack, the dorayaki — a traditional Japanese pancake-like treat with azuki bean paste filling. Usagiya in Ueno, a long-standing dessert shop, is best known for their dorayaki especially its “Tokyo Big 3”: plain Dorayaki, Asakusa’s Turtle, and Higashijujo Sougetsu.
