From May 26 to June 2, 1969, famous couple John Lennon and Yoko Ono staged their “bed-in for peace” protest at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel and stayed in rooms 1738, 1740, 1742, and 1744. During their stay at the hotel, the duo welcomed and invited the media to join them in their protest in promoting world peace.
