It’s not every day that you get to learn about a former president’s personal life. But for Manuel L. Quezon, who also had a feature film released in 2025, visitors can have a peek of his family life at the Quezon Heritage House.

The two-story house is a reconstructed version of his New Manila house originally located at 45 Gilmore Street. Aside from the former president, visitors can also learn more about the life of former First Lady Aurora Quezon, whose advocacies, especially after the president’s passing, have been impactful for Filipinos. Did you know that she was the first president of the Philippine National Red Cross?

Opening hours: 9 AM to 4 PM, Tuesday to Sunday

Bahay Modernismo

Nestled just a few steps away from the Quezon Heritage House, Bahay Modernismo will take you straight back to the 1950s. This stylish house features actual pieces from the Aquino family’s house on Times Street, which completes the museum experience.

Stepping inside, visitors are treated to different rooms for every family member: from a vintage Singer sewing machine to vinyl records, toiletries, and even appliances and ingredients for cooking.

Opening hours: 9 AM to 4 PM, Tuesdays to Sundays

Ever wondered how the country’s former presidents got around the metro? From a simple kalesa to swanky Mercedes-Benz cars, the Presidential Car Museum lets you learn not only about each president’s choice of vehicle but also explore the history of cars over the past century.

Before the museum opened in 2018, the cars were safely restored in a warehouse in Pampanga.

Aside from the cars, the museum also has an exhibit at its other wing, which changes every few months. As of September 2026, there is an ongoing exhibit about the life of Carlos P. Romulo.

If you’re visiting with kids, they can also learn about road safety at the TASK Central Hub.

Opening hours: 9 AM to 4 PM, Tuesday to Sunday

Museo ni Manuel Quezon

While the Quezon Heritage House offers a glimpse into Manuel L. Quezon’s family life, the Museo ni Manuel Quezon inside the Quezon Memorial Shrine educates visitors about his work as former President of the Philippines. Finding the museum shouldn’t be difficult too, as the monument features three 66-meter vertical pylons at the center of the park.

Fun fact: The height of the pylons represents the age of the former president when he passed away in 1944.

Opening hours: 9 AM to 4 PM, Tuesday to Sunday\

You can also collect stamps when you visit these museums
