You don’t have to be a surfer to enjoy La Union. There are plenty of other things to do here too: from going on a food trip to bar hopping at night. If you’re planning a short beach getaway and looking for accessible accommodation, check out Surfstar Elyu:

Room 7 at Surfstar Elyu

Nestled in the heart of Urbiztondo, Surfstar Elyu is a newly-opened stay that offers its guests the best views of Monalisa Point. They have minimalist rooms that accommodate up to four guests, including this corner room where you’ll get to wake up to a dreamy beach view. There’s no need to leave your bed to check the waves if you wish to surf for the day! Actress Mylene Dizon also owns the place, so you might see her during your stay. She might even give you a tour!

Unlike other rooms, Room 7 has a window above the queen bed, which makes the room brighter and look more spacious. It also has sliding glass doors that lead to a balcony where you can go stargazing at night. If you’re a sucker for a good beach view, go for this corner room instead.

On the other side of the room is a loft area where you’ll find a double bed.

The room also has a private bathroom below the loft.

Surfstar Elyu is also within walking distance from popular bars and restaurants.

Shared spaces

Surfstar Elyu has a kubo by the beach, in case you need space to get work done or a chill spot. You can find bean bags, mats, and Japanese zaisu chairs here.
