Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm are the most popular temples in Cambodia, but for those who want a bit more jungle feel and ancient feel, a trip to Beng Mealea is a must. Trees, roots and bushes fight for space between the ruins, giving it a mysterious ambiance. People don’t know much about its history, but they guessed it was constructed during King Suryavarman II’s reign that dates back to the 12th century.
