The Notre Dame Cathedral attracts 13 million visitors every year, making it an integral destination not only to Catholics but also to traveling tourists. Significant religious artifacts such as the Holy Crown, believed to be from the crown of thorns Jesus used in the crucifixion, and the Tunic of St. Louis, allegedly worn by the late King of France, were fortunately saved from being burned to the ground.
