Mere hours after the devastation, French billionaires Francois-Henri Pinault and Bernard Arnault pledged to donate a total of €300 million to rebuild the historical landmark. French president Emmanuel Macron meanwhile claimed that the cathedral will be renovated within five years.

Even with the fire, its charm and influence will forever remain in the hearts and memory of those who were fortunate enough to have visited it.
