Instituto Cervantes is the largest non-profit organization in the world that promotes the teaching, study, and use of the Spanish language. It first opened its doors in the Philippines in 1994, and was inaugurated by the Spanish Princess Dona Elena. Today, the Instituto doesn’t just offer language courses but also various programs that encourage Filipinos to further appreciate the vibrant Spanish and Latin-American culture.
