Makati is one of the busiest central business districts in the country, and commuting into this busy city are so many employees from all over the metro, including Quezon City. It’s a good thing that the point-to-point (P2P) bus servicing the Katipunan to Makati route is back, still operated by DNS Transport Group. Here’s everything you need to know about the QC–Makati P2P bus route.

Route

This P2P bus service is a direct route between UP Town Center (UPTC) in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City, and One Ayala in Makati.

DNS Transport Group, the route operator, temporarily suspended its services on November 22, 2024, much to the disappointment of commuters. Their suspension announcement post has been regularly inundated with comments asking when operations will return or if the route is permanently closed.

The service made its gradual return to operations on December 18, 2025, starting with only four trips per way. More time slots have been added over the past months.

According to DNS, the P2P bus serving the QC–Makati route is currently using the EDSA Carousel, which means it doesn’t have intermediate stops at Kalayaan Avenue, Eastwood, or Greenbelt and Glorietta.
