Shercon Resort and Ecology Park

Located at San Sebastian in the municipality of Mataasnakahoy, Shercon Resort and Ecology Park is only one and a half hours away from Metro Manila. It’s known for its iconic pools and themed swimming areas, but it has so much more to offer.

Picturesque swimming pools

An idyllic haven, Shercon Resort and Ecology Park offers so many pools to choose from. The resort features Instagram-worthy pocket pools and themed swimming areas.

After taking a dip in the resort’s famous 11 pocket pools, you can splash around in the other seven swimming areas. You can start at the Hidden Pool, Hotel Pool, Prime Pool, and the Ecology Pool. Afterwards, head on over to the Infinity Pool, Forestville Pool, and Sophia’s Duck Pool.

Day tour packages

If you only have a day to spare, day tour packages are available. You can stay in one of the cottages at the resort. Kubo houses in varying sizes are perfect for groups up to 15 persons.

Both the Japanese Kubo houses and Bougainvillea Benches are ideal for six persons. There’s also a mini pavilion furnished with tables and chairs for up to 12 persons.

If you want an airconditioned space, you can stay at the Farm Hut or the Pavilion Suite. The first has a double-sized bed and a terrace furnished with tables and chairs. The second has two rooms, each with three double-sized beds.

Day tour packages start at Php 800 up to Php 5,000. You also need to pay an entrance fee of Php 250 per person.

 

 

Overnight accommodations

If you want to stay at the resort for a few days, you can choose from the Pool Villa, Club Manuel Suites, Forestville Suites, Club Manuel Cabins, Forestville Cabins, Infinity Duplex, Blue House Suites, and Blue House Dorms.

The Pool Villa can accommodate four to six persons. It features an airconditioned room, two double-sized beds with pullout mattresses, a mini-refrigerator, a 55-inch cable television, a hot and cold shower, towels and toiletries, an open veranda, and a private swimming pool. Rates start at Php 10,500.

The Club Manuel Suites and Forestville Suites can also accommodate four to six persons. Both come with complimentary dinner and breakfast. Amenities include air-conditioned rooms, double-sized beds with pullout mattresses, a mini-refrigerator, cable television, hot and cold shower, and towels and toiletries. Rates start at Php 5,000.

The Club Manuel Cabins, Forestville Cabins, and Infinity Duplex are ideal for groups of four to eight persons. Amenities include dual aircons, pullout sofa beds, double-sized mattresses, cable televisions, and refrigerators. Rates start at Php 5,000.

The Blue House Suites and Blue House Dorms are located in a more secluded part of the resort. Both can accommodate four to six persons. Amenities include air-con, double-sized beds and mattresses, cable televisions, and refrigerators. Take note that the Blue House Dorms are not available for senior citizens or differently-abled persons. Rates start at Php 4,000.

Food and drinks

You can bring your own food and drinks with no corkage fee. The resort also has an in-house restaurant, Sam’s Kitchen, which serves your favorite Pinoy dishes. Group meals are available and start at Php 1,650 for four to six persons, and at Php 3,050 for eight to ten persons.

If you want a cup of joe, Jam’s Pool Bar and Café serves coffee, non-caffeinated drinks, and beers starting at Php 50. Assorted cakes are also available at Php 100 per slice.

Other amenities

Looking for a venue for your next team building? Shercon Resort and Ecology Park also features various function halls for small and large groups. Rates start at Php 6,000.
