From a Taylor Swift-themed studio to unique jungle stays, there’s an Airbnb option for every type of traveler. Here’s something die-hard Shrek fans can look forward to: Airbnb has partnered with DreamWorks Animation for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to rent Shrek’s Swamp for an exclusive stay in October. Here’s what we know about it:

Exclusive stay at Shrek’s Swamp

For the first time ever, Shrek is allowing some of his biggest fans to experience staying at this swamp in Scotland from October 27-29. If you’re seeking a unique and themed holiday, this Airbnb in a secluded area surrounded by trees might be up your alley. And it’s like stepping into the movie set, complete with overgrown landscaping, muddy floors, and modest interiors.

Donkey may not be there to welcome you IRL, but the details will make every die-hard fan swoon. A fireplace, an earwax candle, and even Shrek’s iconic outhouse – these are details that can’t be missed.

How to book

Shrek’s Swamp is free and guests may begin to request for an overnight stay beginning October 13 at 6 PM BST (October 14 at 1 AM PST for Pinoys) at Airbnb.

Airbnb will also make a one-time donation to Hopscotch Children’s Charity, an organization that provides nurturing and dynamic breaks to some of Scotland’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged children.

Reminder

While the Airbnb is free, guests who get the chance to stay at Shrek’s Swamp are responsible for expenses going to and from the property.
