A solemn experience awaits you inside the chambers of Pak Ou caves. Numerous Buddha statues and shrines are kept inside the many sacred corners of the cave. A lot of the locals come here to offer prayers and to witness the traditional cleaning of the Buddha figures. It crests on top of a picturesque peak where you can also enjoy a magnificent view of the Mekong River. Pak Ou caves can be reached by riding a small boat and going on a short hike.
