Fine beige sand and calm waters make Burot Beach in Calatagan, Batangas, a tropical heaven for anyone who needs some de-stressing. You’re surrounded by rich foliage and a long stretch of sand that’s perfect for a quiet stroll. There are also giant rocks to sit on, with no overlooking structures to distract your view of the glorious sunset. It’s really just you and mother nature!

Being in Cagbalete Island feels like getting disconnected from the progressive chaos of Metro Manila. Wildlife enthusiasts will love its diverse ecosystem where a unique variety of birds and aquatic species thrive. You also won’t run out of activities to do like bird watching, island hopping, or even snorkeling.

 

Sepoc Beach (Maricaban Island, Batangas)


At first glance, Sepoc Beach looks like a beautiful painting that came to life. The scenery is just breathtaking, with crystal clear waters and lush greenery that you can take countless pictures of for the ‘gram. There are no cafes or restaurants nearby, so it’s best to pack your own snacks before coming here. The beach is spacious enough to hold fun picnics or some volleyball action.

 

Dinadiawan Beach (Dipaculao, Aurora)


If you and your friends are still debating where to go this summer, Dinadiawan Beach might help settle the discussion. Everyone will love the serene atmosphere and view of mountains from afar. This camping haven will test your survival skills, so you better have medicines and other travel essentials. Locals installed a net that acts as a barrier to prevent beachgoers from getting stung by jellyfish. Of course, you can’t go camping without some stargazing session to end the night. There are resorts as well if you prefer sleeping on a comfy bed.

 

Magalawa Island (Palauig, Zambales)


It’s not that hard to fall in love with Magalawa Island. The coconut trees lining up the shore, emerald-green waves, and the perfect summer weather give a much-relaxed vibe. Beachgoers can enjoy a zen atmosphere that you won’t find in the metro. There’s a pristine sandbar pleading for a visit, with nipa huts where you can relax for the rest of your afternoon.

 

Talisayen Cove (San Antonio, Zambales)
