Surrounded by a lush garden, trees, and the sounds of chirping birds, White Roof Cottages is a newly-opened stay tucked in Silang, Cavite that will let you experience a relaxing nature getaway for a few days.

White Roof Cottages

White Roof Cottages began as a mud house project in 2017. From being built with bamboo and clay to having its construction halted for a few years, the family project opened this year as a short-term rental for guests seeking a relaxing nature retreat. The humble one-bedroom home features its surrounding nature in its design: its exterior walls are embellished with a tree design and real tree branches are used as railings indoors.

For P3,500 a night for two, guests can already enjoy a living area with a television, a comfortable bed in the mezzanine, a fully-equipped kitchen, a hot tub, and a dining area. If you enjoy having K-BBQ, you can use the samyupsal grill and dine with a nature view.

The dining and hot tub area is enclosed with glass, which allows guests to still enjoy nature while being indoors and having protection from mosquitoes and other insects. Just imagine enjoying your morning coffee while being surrounded by a nature view!

With the weather getting cooler, the bonfire area is perfect for spending an evening staying warm under the stars. The pit already has a complete set-up and all you have to bring are snacks and your best stories. Sparkling fairy lights make the space cozier too.

There’s also plenty of nature to explore around the mud house, such as the garden by the bonfire pit and a river just a few steps down the property.
