Batangas is known for its various beach resorts. Being just a few hours’ drive from the Metro, it’s a popular destination for quick getaways for some sun and sea or even a day trip for a meal with a view in Tagaytay. Located in Anilao, one of the province’s famous diving spots is a haven for pastel lovers. Even if you’re not a scuba diver, you would still enjoy the comfort and privacy this place has to offer.

The Space

Nestled in the municipality of Mabini, the Anilao Cliffhouse is the perfect vacation home away from home that gives you the best of both worlds: the forest and the sea. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat, this home is a treat for both the soul and the eyes.

Painted in pastel blue with accents of white, there’s no wondering why Anilao Cliffhouse has been eye candy for its visitors – it’s the perfect spot for upping your insta game.

The studio has one queen bed, a sofa bed, and two floor mattresses while the music room, which is outside of the house, has two floor mattresses that can accommodate up to five persons. All in all, it can sleep nine comfortably. If you plan on going during the summer, don’t worry about the heat as the studio has two air conditioners: one in the loft area and one on the ground floor. Power outages are common in the area, but the studio has generators on standby 24/7.

The pastel-colored studio also has a fully-functional kitchen equipped with essential appliances like a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Should you plan on having a barbecue; a grilling area can be found by the pool. An indoor comfort room can also be found in the studio, on top of the five comfort rooms outside.

Access and Amenities

A cozy stay at the Anilao Cliffhouse isn’t complete without enjoying all of its amenities. Cozying up in the loft studio is already relaxing but the whole experience is complete once you go outside.

If you don’t want to go down the beach yet, you can cool off at the swimming pool and be surrounded by trees. This area also has a swing basket, grills for barbecue, and outdoor comfort rooms.

Beside the pool is the music room, equipped with a piano and Harman Kardon sound system and an unobstructed panoramic view of the ocean.

Enjoy a cup of warm coffee in the morning overlooking the ocean at this small nook under a mango tree. The sparkling waters from the nearby ocean and the breeze from the surrounding forest: what could be more relaxing than that?

The Cliffhouse also has a bonfire area, which is perfect for staying warm in cold evenings. It’s an all-around experience for nature lovers.

Guests have to bring their own snorkeling masks and fins, but can also rent for an additional price.
