While this ad has been controversial because of the similarities with another country’s tourism ad, we can’t deny that it was powerful and beautifully made.

This tourism ad tells the true story of a Japanese who chose to retire in the Philippines. He is revealed to be blind but this didn’t stop him from experiencing the Philippines with the rest of his senses. The video was a minute long and it featured islands and cities in the country including Hundred Islands, Banaue Rice Terraces, and Calle Crisologo at Vigan.

The original video was taken down by the Department of Tourism – Philippines after issues arose regarding its concept.
