Long, steep, and claustrophobic that appears a lot creepier on a foggy night, this infamous stairwell in Georgetown, as seen in 1973’s The Exorcist, makes the perfect horror flick setting and, apparently, a great training site. Named M Street Stairs, it is regularly used by the Georgetown track team for practice and conditioning.
