ICYMI, it’s not a scam – 20,400 Pinoys did win free round-trip tickets to Hong Kong via Cathay Pacific’s “World of Winners” Ticket Offer campaign, as announced on March 21. But HK’s biggest welcome to tourists doesn’t stop there – whether you won free tickets or planning to fly to the country for leisure, you can look forward to free rewards that will make your trip more exciting. Hong Kong Tourism Board is treating travelers to Hong Kong Goodies and here’s everything you need to know about it:

Hong Kong Goodies or HK Goodies are visitor consumption goodies that are exclusive for visitors. They’re basically welcome gifts, over a million are being given away, such as exclusive gifts from museums and attractions and vouchers from restaurants and shops. There are three options for tourists:

• A welcome drink worth over HK$100 from bars, hotels, and restaurants
• A HK$100 cash voucher to over 120 select restaurants, attractions, and shops with no minimum spending required
• A special gift worth over HK$100 at a museum or attraction

Tourists staying for not more than 90 days are eligible for these consumption vouchers which can only be redeemed once.

Travelers may claim them until December 31, 2023.

How to Get Your Hong Kong Goodies

There are two ways to redeem these exciting gifts:

• Book your trip through a travel portal or travel agent listed here.
• Visit a Hong Kong Tourist Board Center at the following locations:
  • Hong Kong International Airport Visitor Center
    Address: Buffer Halls A and B, Arrivals Level, Terminal 1, Hong Kong International Airport, Lantau Island
    Opening hours: 8 am to 9 pm daily

For e-coupons, tourists need to download the HKTB app and select “My Wallet” to view their offer of choice. You will receive an HKTB QR Code, which you’ll need to present to the participating merchants.

How long are these coupons valid?

Hong Kong Goodies are valid for 30 days from the day of acquisition.
