Stay Warm and Toasty by a Bonfire at This Outdoor Cafe in Lipa, Batangas

On the hunt for your next favorite cafe?
by | November 09, 2022

Aside from staycations, one of the best ways to relax and recharge is going on a road trip and discovering new places that might be your next favorite. Tucked inside a resort in Lipa, Batangas, Kaiju Cafe is a spot that you’d want to explore:

Kaiju Cafe

With a cute dinosaur as its mascot, the newly-opened Kaiju Cafe is a budding favorite among Batanguenos due to its idyllic setting and great-tasting food. For people who are always on the hunt for a new cafe to try, this hidden cafe can be your next hideaway when you want to enjoy quality time with friends or family.

Lipa’s known for its cold weather, especially during the “ber” months, making it an ideal place to drive to when you don’t want to deal with the crowd in Tagaytay. Kaiju Cafe offers alfresco dining, which is perfect if you’re looking for a spot to enjoy the fresh air. The weather, outdoor setting, and food – these are little joys you won’t get enough of.

We can all agree that some of the best conversations are shared over good coffee, and it’s even better when you’re huddled around a bonfire at night! When you end up staying late at Kaiju Cafe, enjoy the cold city breeze and head over to their bonfire area.

The Menu

Whether you’re visiting to catch up with friends or staying all day, there are plenty of beverages and dishes to choose from at Kaiju Cafe. There are classic coffee-based drinks that start at P80. Since you’re in Batangas, give Barako Brew a try! For the sweet tooth, you can go for Popcorn Latte (P150) or try something new with the Kaiju Special (P160). They also serve fruit teas, frappes, and sodas.

If you want a light snack, pair your drink with some of their pastries that start at P50 for a Chocochunk Cookie. Hungry for more? Kaiju also serves an all-day breakfast menu, pasta, stir fry, and appetizers.

Since they’re a Japanese-inspired cafe, don’t forget to try their Sandos and Bites, which are served with coleslaw and fries.
