Wine not?

While traveling could be difficult, especially now in the middle of the pandemic, there are some places nearby that could still make you feel like you’ve been transported into another country. One such place is this quaint little wine cellar called La Petite Parisienne in Makati.

La Petite Parisienne

Most restaurants have their wines hidden away in the storerooms or cellars. Some have a shelf or two behind the counter, perhaps to keep them safe and away from accidents. But La Petite Parisienne doesn’t believe in any of that. Instead of hiding them away, the shelves of La Petite Parisienne are filled with bottles upon bottles upon bottles of different wines, making for an Instagram-worthy background for all your date night or barkada hangout photos.

Soft cushioned chairs featuring quirky vintage artworks surround polished wooden tables and bar tops. The interiors are built like a cellar, with a lot of warm light and so many shelves filled with wines across the wall.

The arch style of the roof complements the repeated pattern of the shelves, allowing you to take beautiful photos from anywhere in the room.

Food and drinks

Of course, the resto-bar boasts an extensive wine list. They offer over a hundred different kinds of wines, which are all directly imported from France. So if you’re visiting to enjoy their extensive wine list, make sure to order a board of cold cuts and cheese to pair with your chosen wine to maximize the experience.

There are also a lot of food options that have affordable price tags and decent serving sizes. If you’re only looking for a quick snack, they have salads, sandwiches, and pastries on the menu. If you’re looking for a heavy meal, you can choose from pasta, pizza, and rice meals.

Location

The exact address of La Petite Parisienne is Ground Floor, LPL Center, 130 Leviste Street, Salcedo Village, Makati City. You can simply input it into Google Maps or Waze, if you’re heading there by car.

They also have two more branches, one in Tomas Morato (33 Sct. Madriñan St, Diliman, Quezon City) and another along E. Rodriguez (Le Village Lifestyle Park, E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue Corner Cordillera Street, Tatalon, Quezon City).

For more information, head on to their Facebook or Instagram.
