If you ask anyone about their summer plans, chances are they’ll be mentioning going on a trip to Baguio. After all, it isn’t called the ‘Summer Capital of the Philippines’ for nothing. The city’s year-round cool weather attracts thousands of tourists yearly and provides a perfect escape from Manila’s oven-hot temperature.

If you’ve been to Baguio, you’ve been to the usual crowded tourist spots: Burnham Park, Camp John Hay, Mines View Park, Strawberry Farm. And while they’re definitely places that deserve a spot in your itinerary, you’re probably already tired of it. What about visiting a new place away from the crowds and closer to nature?
