The mechanics are simple and straightforward. You simply need to bring your pre-loved luggage to any participating Samsonite stores, and you will receive the 35% off discount on a new Samsonite luggage.

The luggage you bring doesn’t have to be a Samsonite one either. It could be from any brand and be in any size or condition, and you’ll still get a guaranteed 35% discount.

These pre-loved luggages will be turned into school chairs that kids can use. On top of that, Samsonite will also automatically donate PHP 100 to the WWF Philippines to support their campaign in building a nature-positive, net-zero carbon and equitable future.

 

What Samsonite luggage gets the discount?

Participants in this program can choose between two Samsonite luggage types: NIAR or OC2LITE.

Perfect for those who love minimalism, the Niar is designed with simple yet contemporary lines. It’s also just as functional with its double wheels, integrated carry handles, dual-tube trolley puller, compression straps, TSA combination lock, and an expander. Niar comes in two colors: Graphite and Silver. The price also depends on the size you choose:

  • 57 cm — PHP 13,422.50 (35% off from PHP 20,650)
  • 66 cm — PHP 15,567.50 (35% off from PHP 23,950)
  • 78 cm — PHP 18,947.50 (35% off from PHP 29,150)

Meanwhile, the OC2LITE boasts of a lightweight and durable body that also features a reinforced shell that offers extra strength and maneuverability. It also includes anti-theft zips, a TSA lock, an expander, double wheels, and a built-in ID tag. OC2LITE comes in three colors: Jade, Deep Red, and Navy Blue. Prices range from the following, depending on the luggage size:

  • 55 cm — PHP 14,462.50 (35% off from PHP 22,250)
  • 75 cm — PHP 18,817.50 (35% off from PHP 28,950)
  • 81 cm — PHP 22,717.50 (35% off from PHP 34,950)

The trade-in program will run until 31 May 2023. But make sure to bring your old luggages to the nearest Samsonite branch as soon as you can, because stocks are running out fast!
