Rizal has always been the perfect weekend destination. It’s a few hours’ drive from the city and there’s never a shortage of mountains to explore or resorts to stay at. For small groups of barkadas looking for a new place to explore, this Jeepney Camper in Tanay, Rizal should be in your bucket list.

The Jeepney Camper is a jeepney transformed into a cozy sleeping space. It’s built with an added loft accessible by a ladder. With a queen-size bed and a double mattress, the camper sleeps four guests comfortably. The camper also has lots of windows that let the natural light in and makes the white walls and bamboo flooring look even cozier. Guests can turn the air conditioning unit on and snuggle into the clean bed sheets, pillows, and blankets.

There is no WiFi or TV but that only means you get to disconnect from the stress of the outside world. Other amenities include a small refrigerator, kitchen space, stove, dishes, and silverware. And to top it all off, there’s even a campfire pit and a small private pool.

Those picky with bathrooms will be glad to know that the bathroom is as clean as could be. It’s located beside the camper and is equipped with a heater and basic toiletries.

The campsite is near various Rizal destinations including Mt. Daraitan and Daraitan river, Tinipak River, Daranak Falls, Masungi Georeserve, and the Pililla Windfarm.

You can book your stay at the Jeepney Camper via Airbnb for P3,900 per night.
